Nexus Golf Institute recently hosted the “Pathway to College Golf Scholarships” seminar at Phothalai Golf Park, Bangkok, on Saturday, August 8, 2026, giving junior golfers and their parents a clearer understanding of how golf can open the door to university scholarships in the United States.
The seminar focused on the complete pathway to becoming a successful student-athlete, from building a competitive golf game to meeting academic requirements and preparing a strong player profile for U.S. college coaches.

The event brought together experienced golf coaches, sports science specialists, sports psychologists, and overseas education advisors, including Pro Chonrat Sasiwong, Pro Somsaksri S. Srisuwan, Pro Weerakit Wanichathitichai, Asst. Prof. Dr. Naruepon Vongjaturapat, Weerawat Sae-Jiew, Wimolthip Sirithorn of College Connect, University of Delaware, and Supanat Rianthaisong
A special highlight of the seminar was the appearance of three highly respected Thai professional golfers — Prayad Marksaeng, Thammanoon Sriroj, and Prom Meesawat — who shared stories from their professional careers, tournament experience, and lessons learned along the way.
